I decided to resurrect an old police/fire radio scanner that resurfaced while I was going through a box of stuff in my closet. It is a Realistic (Radio Shack) Pro-30 w/16 channel VHF & UHF scanning capability. It will not handle the 800Mhz stuff, but is plenty good for this remote corner of Wyoming.
