Blizzard; not the Dairy Queen kind. Court trips to Utah

Monday, November 28th, 2005

I am killing time online, waiting to perform Latter-dayVillage.com maintenance; site traffic is at its lowest around 2 AM. The Weather Channel lists our current wind speed at 20 MPH, but it is much stronger out here in lovely Antelope Valley, it is really howling out there. Temperature is 19 degrees, feels like […]

Lyal earns first varsity letter

Saturday, November 26th, 2005

I forgot to post this from last week, but Lyal earned his first Varsity letter (football) from Campbell County High School (CCHS). We are proud of him.
Now to start saving for that letterman jacket. And get him to clean his room.

Tim’s Daily Routine

Thursday, November 24th, 2005

Tim’s daily routine:

Wake up.
Cough up a lung, expectorate.
Blow head contents into pile of Kleenex.
Take OTC medication.
Visit bathroom
Perform saline nasal wash.
Drink fluids
Fall asleep
See step one.

NO kidding, it’s been that way since my last entry. Today is different however; I spent Thanksgiving alone having a baloney sandwich. I was too sick to have anyone here […]

Phlegm

Thursday, November 17th, 2005

One of my favorite words, NOT. For those of you who know my medical history, phlegm is an item that is very familiar to me. Due to my postnasal drip, when I get a cold, it usually slides right down deep in my lungs and makes a permanent home for a few months. […]

My Blogg is Blogged

Sunday, November 13th, 2005

Somehow my Kennedy rant was picked up for a blog consolidation service, blogs.icerocket.com. Oops, better be careful, soon the MoveOn.org crowd will be dropping by for some insults.

Wyoming vs. BYU 2005

Saturday, November 12th, 2005

Today is the big rivalry game between Wyoming and BYU. We are rooting for the Cougs of course, but just this weekend. Lyal and I normally cheer for the Pokes as our adopted local team, just as we cheered for the CSU Rams and Colorado Buffs while we lived in Colorado.
Lyal is going to the […]

Sen. Ed Kenney Stinks!

Friday, November 11th, 2005

If you don”t know what my political lean is, you will after this rant.
If you heard the womanizing Commie Pinko on the TV during a Sunday news program, the picture here tells what I think about him.
Said Kennedy, on “Meet the Press,” ”We cannot have a government which is going to manipulate intelligence […]

What is up with this family’s birthdays?

Monday, November 7th, 2005

Ok, there is something wrong with this family. I am sure someone can figure it out, but I am not that smart. We have most of our family birthdays all bunched up in two months of the year. Yes, there are twelve to choose from, but we seem to like June and November. […]

Gillette Camels done for the football year 2005

Friday, November 4th, 2005

Lyal is finished with football for another year. The Camels lost to Cheyenne East in Cheyenne, 14-13. This was a state semi-final game, the team having defeated Casper Kelly Walsh last week 30-6.
Lyal plays middle linebacker (MAC) and reported by phone that he played most of the fourth quarter when the Camels tried […]
